A little history behind our business

As a lifetime "car guy" I have been fascinated with cars and trucks since I was a kid. In early high school I began working on my first vehicle (1977 Ford f150) passed down to me from my dad. It was beat up but it ran good! I decided I wanted to make it look a little better so began my auto body training. I was able to work along side a true professional body tech as we restored my old truck! After High school I took auto body and general business courses at South Plains College. During my college years, I opened my first shop in 1989 in an old barn that my family let me use.

In The Beginning...

Starting out in an old cow barn with a dirt floor certainly presented its challenges! I learned to repair wrecks and hail damage in some pretty poor conditions but I believe it made me appreciate things as I was able to expand and improve the business. In the early 1990s I opened my first shop in Lubbock and sold it after about 10 years of success. I purchased my first set of paintless dent repair tools in the late 1990s and once I sold the shop, I began the long process of learning paintless dent repair techniques. I also took a job as an insurance adjuster to pay the bills! The experience in the insurance field would prove to be very valuable for assisting customers with their insurance claims once I opened American Dent Company. .

Fast forward many years and with wife, sons and daughter assisting the growth and expansion of our business, We have a proud history of excellent work and customer service. As we move into a retail environment, we are committed to providing the best quality repairs for the best possible price as we have done for many years around West Texas for our Auto Dealerships and Body Shop customers!
